Our purpose

The IOMTSF exists to act as an umbrella organisation covering all target shooting disciplines in the Isle of Man. It's main objectives are:

promoting the general development of target shooting;
acting as a consultative body;
representing the Isle of Man in matters concerning multi-discipline international shooting;
acting as a conduit through which the shooting sports relate with external organisations such as Isle of Man Sport.

Disciplines

Target shooting on the Isle of Man covers a wide variety of different disciplines. These include:

15 yard indoor, and 50m outdoor smallbore rifle

Representated by the Isle of Man Rifle Association

airgun, including both air pistol and air rifle

Representated by the Isle of Man Air Gun Association

clay pigeon shooting

Representated by the Manx Clay Pigeon Shooting Association

cartridge pistol shooting

Representated by the Peveril Rifle Club

fullbore rifle shooting

Representated by the Isle of Man Fullbore Rifle Club
